Hi Bingo Crushers!

I was chatting with Geno earlier this evening and we ended up here at BC, which was a good thing because since he opened BC I've had a little pet peeve that has been bothering me and I finally remembered to tell him. lol

When you opened this thread up to see what the hell I was complaining about lol did you have to look through other Crusher responses before you found my post?

Or when I post that we are having a contest, is my post the very last one you come to?

To me it felt like everything was backwards from what I'm use to like at CC or PC sooooo he told me how to change it and I'm here to tell you how to change the way you view the posts also, if you'd like to change it so it looks normal. Or keep it backwards if you'd like, its up to you. LOL

On the Upper Left Hand side of the forum page click on "UserCP". Again on the left hand side of that page go down to the heading "Settings and Options" and click on "Edit Options".

Ok now about 2/3rds down the page you will see the heading "Thread Display Options". Then go down to the 2nd box titled "Thread Display Mode" and you'll see a drop down box that says "Linear - Newest First". Change that to say "Linear - Oldest First" and then go to the bottom of the page and click on "Save Changes". Waaaa Laaaaaaa presto, you won't be backwards anymore. LMAOOOO

Ok I'm sure that what I have just tried to explain is probably about as clear as mud to you, but just do it and then you'll see what I mean and I'm sure you'll feel much better like I do!! lol

Come on try it, it only takes a minute and if you like reading things backwards you can always change it back. Come on ... it doesn't hurt .. just do it and then come back and tell me how to explain it better for everyone else ok?

Geno has also fixed this feature for all new members signing up, its just the members that signed up before today that will need to change it.

I tried to open a new thread and it would not let me.why? anyways.I need help with disabling a funtion here so i'll stop getting emails every time there is a respons to one of my posts here.flooding my email.I already have hundreds of emails coming in and trying to get rid of silly ones that i don't need.like replys to posts.thank you.

Hi Shirls, I'm not sure why it wouldn't let you open a new thread. Hopefully that was just a fluke and it will work for you now.

As far as changing your email preferences, click on the upper left hand side "user CP"

then on the left hand side click on "edit options" under the heading of "settings and options"

2nd Paragraph "Messaging and Notification" uncheck both boxes in "receive email"

In the next section "default thread subscription mode" click on the drop down box and high light "no email notification"

the next section "private messaging" uncheck the box next to "receive email notification of private messages"

Then at the bottom of the page click on submit and that should take away your email notifications. hun

If it doesn't, please let me know and I'll search further.
